I rarely make two posts about one place, but I came across these photos from one of my recent visits to the little coffeshop Kaffe in Istedgade and thought I'd reccomend it again. That street is most certainly full of good places to drink coffee (the nameless at Enghave Plads, Ricco's, Bang & Jensen, Kaffe & Vinyl to name a few), but last summer I 'discovered' Kaffe. Chris took me there when I was feeling the Berlin blues, and I immediately liked the wooden details, the quirky little area before the toilet with the windows in the ceiling - and the coffee. It's cheap and good, they serve a decent breakfast for 50 kr, and the other day I had an ice coffee served in old jam jars. Go! (Istedgade 90, Vesterbro)
