Stockholm, round one

So, I went to Stockholm this weekend. Iben, Mette and I flew north to visit Chris in her new town, drink lots of coffee (and alcohol...), walk around, laugh a lot, talk and just hang out. It was marvellous. It was cold and overcast, but it didn't matter. Stockholm is such a beautiful city, and it was perfect with a little getaway. Much more of that, please!
Chris lives in the cutest street.
Stockholm is so hilly! We really got a decent workout fighting our way up and down the streets.
Right beside Chris' house is a viewpoint of the city. It is absolutely breathtaking!
Friday night was spent in a club beneath a bridge, and we were slightly hungover when we woke up well into the afternoon on Saturday. So coffee was very needed. Luckily, Chris lives practically next door to Stockholm's best coffee shop, Drop Coffee (Wollmar Yxkullsgatan 10, Södermalm).
Their breakfast was pretty good - despite the egg being freezing cold and served with the Swedes' favourite weird stuff; fishpaste......
Frabrique makes excellent cardamomrolls, my new addiction.
We walked around Gamla Stan and took in the beautiful buildings.
The lovely Chris and an ornamented door.
We had coffee and cinnamon rolls in an old tram while our hungover state made us particularly giddy and loud. I think we must have upset some of the other guests with our rowdy talk.
Oh, how wonderful that view is. Especially with these lovely ladies.
