Masculine men and feminine ladies

Yesterday, the air around Ejby in Fyn was heavy with motoroil, Johnny Cash-tunes and hairspray. 250 rockabillies gathered to look at old cars, dance the air up under the polkadotted skirts - and celebrate their retro lifestyle. I was impressed and had a blast while circling around interviewing with my photographer. See more in the September issue of the magazine...
There was a race with the old cars - they didn't seem to care that the cars were actually old, so there were car parts scattered all over the place afterwards...
The men were masculine with their greasy hair, rough jeans and boots and leatherjackets. And the women were feminine with pencilskirts, flawless makeup and high hair.
I was invited to a grill party with some of the people, and we ate the somewhat overgrilled sausages while Johnny Cash played in the background.
When I wasn't driving in the back of a babyblue pickup truck, I tried sitting in a 1930 Chevrolet...
The sunset was overwhelming out there on the countryside...
One of the men passed out in the grass and was carried off by his friends...
