Berlin leben - and lieben

Whoa, I must say I feel at home here. It creeps up on me on my bike when I drive home from meeting new friends over beers, or when I rediscover how well I know the city and all its crookedness. I love how everything goes in Berlin, how people are always slightly crazy, how you can meet someone's eye on the other side of the street and feel a connection. Oh, Berlin!
One of the nights with Jonas and Pete...
On Monday I had breakfast with Jonas at Ringo (Sanderstr. 2, Neukölln), my old favourite spot.
We went into Mitte for a coffee with Christian at The Barn (Auguststr. 58, Mitte) - so so so good coffee! I was getting over a fever, and coffee really did the trick.
Later, Jonas and I had burgers at Shiso (Auguststr. 29c, Mitte). Yum yum.
Nina and I had coffee the next day at Tischendorf (Friedelstr. 25, Neukölln) in my favourite area of Berlin; Reuterkiez. I swooned over her newly acquired Canon.....
Met Nina for another coffee the day after at Five Elephant (Reichenberger Str. 101, Kreuzberg) - epic coffee, epic cheesecake, only Danish people...
Jonas also came and impressed Nina with his model face.
I biked from Kreuzberg to Prenzlauer Berg with the sole purpose of spending an hour in St. George's English book shop trawling for books. So worth the 45 minute ride, and I picked up three novels about Berlin. It's so interesting reading about this city I live in and all its history. I still can't believe how much this place has gone through...

Thank you! They're a mix of iPhone (4S) and Canon G12.
