After San Francisco, we drove into the desert. Spent some days in Yosemite, breathtakingly beautiful Yosemite, before heading to Grand Canyon going through Death Valley. While we were there, in the middle of July, it was around 50 degrees... We had to stop the car's A/C for a while to avoid the motor breaking down. I felt somewhat claustrophobic by that thought, but at the same time it was interesting being so far out in the nature. And all of sudden, there were people running at the side of the road doing a marathon... People are crazy.
This is one of my favourite photos of Sølve - back then, his name was still Jens Christian, of course.
Death Valley.
